What we treat

Conditions we treat

We evaluate and treat adults with short-term and long-standing pain. If you don't see your condition here, call us — we are glad to talk about whether we can help.

Low back pain

Ongoing or recurring pain in the lower back, from strained muscles and worn discs to arthritis in the spine.

Low back pain is one of the most common reasons people miss work and stop doing what they enjoy. We look at how the pain started, what makes it better or worse, and what imaging or past treatment shows, so the plan targets the source rather than just the symptom.

Neck pain

Stiffness, aching or sharp pain in the neck that can spread into the shoulders and upper back.

Neck pain can come from posture, injury, arthritis or a disc pressing on a nerve. When pain travels into the arm or hand, we check for nerve involvement and plan care to match.

Sciatica and pinched nerves

Burning, shooting or tingling pain that travels down an arm or leg when a nerve is compressed.

A herniated disc, spinal stenosis or bone spur can press on a nerve root and send pain far from where the problem starts. Identifying which nerve is involved guides which treatments are most likely to help.

Arthritis and joint pain

Pain and stiffness in the knees, hips, shoulders, hands or spine from osteoarthritis and related conditions.

Arthritis pain often changes with activity and weather. Care can combine medication, targeted injections and guidance on movement to help you stay active.

Neuropathy

Nerve pain, numbness or tingling, often in the feet and hands, including diabetic neuropathy.

Neuropathic pain behaves differently from muscle or joint pain and often needs different medicines. We review your history and work alongside your primary care doctor on the underlying cause.

Headaches and migraine

Frequent or long-lasting headaches, including migraine and headaches that start in the neck.

Keeping track of when headaches happen and what you have already tried helps us suggest next steps, from medication changes to treatments aimed at the nerves and muscles of the neck and scalp.

Fibromyalgia

Widespread pain with fatigue, poor sleep and tenderness that affects daily life.

Fibromyalgia is managed best with a combined approach: medication where it helps, gentle activity, sleep and nutrition. We work with you on a plan you can keep up.

Pain after surgery

Pain that continues after an operation, including after back or joint surgery.

When pain outlasts normal healing, a fresh evaluation can find out why and what can still be done. We coordinate with your surgeon when needed.

Work and auto injury pain

Pain from a workplace injury or motor vehicle accident.

Injury cases often involve paperwork and several providers. Let us know when you call if your visit is related to a work or auto injury so we can tell you what to bring.
